I tried using my nexus s to broadcast a hotspot.....WPA2 and open encryption. Neither worked, still the network available error...
Has anyone tried connecting to a modem directly w/o a router?

I have tried wireless with every possible encryption and two different ethernet cables no router in my setup and still not got through the setup. I think the bug is a software issue because I didn't have any issue on 2.1 but I am now on 3.1. I have notice when putting in the zip code the city, state doesn't pop up but if you reenter it it show not sure but I'm thinking the software isn't giving enough time to get the info or something.
After I installed honeycomb, I noticed that in addition to the audio bug on live tv, I periodically lose the functionality of some of the remote commands that operate my comcast dvr. The keys that are affected are the directional keys as well as the ok button. When I reboot the revue by hitting ctrl + alt + del I regain the functionality for a while, but the issue happens again. I have not noticed a pattern to determine what is causing the issue and when it begins happening. perhaps some sort of background app that is running is keeping the directional keys and ok button from rebinding back to the tv app, when I switch back to live tv. Haven't found any other fix than just rebooting.

I had the same problem with my uverse box, the fix that worked for me is I side loaded the system tray app(any task killer app should work) and end the tv app after that I gain all functionality of my dpad
I've got 3.1 up and running nicely. Lots of sideloaded apps and what not but I can't seem to get my tv to go full screen now. Everything else goes full screen, apps, media player, even the uverse guide and channel select overlay is fullscreen just not the tv. I just don't get it

Is the tv overlayed over the Honeycomb set-up or is it black around the tv? Maybe you need to change a TV setting for the aspect ratio/size.
My brand new Revue (finally) arrived from Best Buy. I got it all set up with stock firmware quick easily. Then upgraded to Honeycomb, also fairly easily. Thankfully I didn't encounter the issues that some people seem to be having during setup.
To be honest, one of the bugs that affects me most is that Google Search will only return a single result for anything in Logitech Media Player. So, for example, I have a folder with 10 episodes for the ATG show "Strike Back". They all have exactly the same naming convention. For some reason when I search for "Strike Back", only the first episode is returned. I've tried this for a number of media items in various folders. Same result. This is important to me because the default DLNA navigation scheme is just terrible. I'd rather just search.
Of course, this could be solved if a more capable media player arrives in the market. Preferably one with DTS support!
All in all I'll probably keep the Revue, but only because it's so cheap right now. I hope the public Honeycomb release is more stable and feature rich......and I hope it comes soon!

That's what I thought too. But I've played with all the settings and nothing changes. It worked fine on 2.1. Ill try running it without the revue box and see what happens.

I tried tethering my phone also but i still cannot log in to google. This is very frustrating....
If you plug in a usb flash drive, let it sync, eject the flash drive, and try to plug back in, it will say "damaged sd card". After a reboot, it reads fine.
Also, I think if the revue gets impropely sshut down, it goes its bootloop.
