Hello -
I tried to install (sideload) Dropbox, and it appears to install OK but then does a Force Close when I try to launch. Has anyone found a work-around for this? I have successfully sideloaded other apps, and I keep my orientation in Landscape mode, so I know it's not that problem.
The error message says the process com.android.dropbox (or something like that) was forced to close.
Thanks,
JG

Re: Sideloading Dropbox
I've been using this app File Commander http://goo.gl/oql85 for awhile now, there's no need to side load drop box anymore. File Commander will sync with your Drop box account on your computer and you'll be able to download any apk from within that folder.

This is great, worked like a charm after I uninstalled Dropbox! This is my new go-to apk sharing method. Now one more problem I've had is finding a GTV browser that can load a Silverlight plugin to play the Tour de France streaming on tourdefrance.nbcsports.com. I tried Skyfire with no luck. Is this just a Google-Microsoft feud and I'm caught in the middle?
