NTFS support on Sony GTV

Ditto on the files --- I've been hoping the link would be fixed for a few weeks now..

Okay, I have an issue -- the first 2 files say to push to /usr/local/bin/ -- but there is no "bin" folder to push to on my GTV. I used root explorer to create one but doesn't show up after a reboot. Thoughts? Thanks...

Update: I got the files pushed -- but when I "adb shell chmod 755 /usr/local/bin/ntfs-3g & ntfs-3g.probe I get an error of "Unable to chmod /usr/local/bin/ntfs-3g : Not a directory" & "Unable to chmod /user/local/bin/ntfs-3g.probe : Not a directory" Help?

Update 2: Got the box to recognize my external hard drive -- it says it's preparing it and checking for e errors and scanning media files -- but it never seems to give me an option to view the files....
