Video player with audio switching (GTVBox/ViMu Player)

In playing an MKV video, the app appears to show all embedded subtitles at once, overlaying and obscuring one another. One video I watched appeared to have two sets of English-language subtitles, one in white and one on black. Mostly the two sets were typeset identically, so they overlaid each other exactly. When this happened they were readable. But occasionally the line of dialog would be laid out differently in white than in black, and in that case, it was a big unreadable mess.

GTVBox should allow us to select which subtitle streams to display: EFX and white, or EFX and black, or whatever.

Thanks, btw! For me, this is the app that makes the whole box worthwhile.

Mkv is h.264 and AAC audio!
I added the synology via dlna and live streaming enabled!

Did you try to disable Live streaming mode?

Hi, yes I tried that too...

The strange thing is that only the NSZ box can't handle this! Plex media player works great and all other streamer apps I have (iPhone Mac etc). Just the Sony player can't handle it!

Any log file I can see or how could I investigate further?

Tried to readd the dlna server again without live streaming and it worked great:)

But why is live steaming not possible? I thought this means the same like in the plex app where it direct streams it without saving it on the device?

Ahh! You opened my eyes WHY anyone tries to enable this checkbox.
In the next version it renamed to "transport stream mode". It usually needed ONLY if your server does transcoding (like Plex server sometimes). It does not save any content locally in any mode.

Ah great now I got it:) maybe name it to "transcoding (if supported)" to avoid confusion?:)

First off I love the app! Second sorry if this was asked/solved already, couldn't get search to work for me. My TV has played everything I've tried thus far. Here is my problem though!! My LG 55G2 does not allow me to select SBS when I press my 3D button, it only gives me the 2D -> 3D option. The side by side files play perfectly fine with the two SBS pictures.

On a side note, DTS gets passed perfectly fine with this app/TV combo!!

I got a response back from LG in regards to this;

"We regret the inconvenience you have experienced with this television. The only time the TV is designed to only provide the 2D->3D Conversion feature is when the signal being received is recognized as a 2D image."

The same files play perfect in 3D on XBMC when I'm on my PC input.

Any help would be appreciated! Its just so much easier using your app

Ok, here goes a strange issue. Suddenly the letter "j" in subtitles are gone. I tried several movies and different subs. Uppercase "J" is there.
Any ideas?
