DTS works on Sony Blu-ray player (both decoding and pass-through), but not on Sony TV.
I really like my Sony Blu-ray after a year of using Revue.
I am not sure that is possible to port DTS support to rooted Revue, but who knows.
Decisions decisions. Funny how I haven't turned on my ps3 in over a year. Not trying to turn conversion off topic but is the Sony bluray much "snapper" than the revue?

Snappier sorry. Typing on phone. What I mean is it more responsive and faster than the revue.

I don't think it is noticeably more responsive and fast. But it has Android 3.2 with interface acceleration and animations are smoother.
Is just more advanced. It supports MPEG2 and DTS, it can pass-through DD/DTS sound, its remote can control your TV directly (without box's emitters), you can stand by it :D, it can zoom 4:3 video, it has much more internal storage, it is rooted...
Captain Obvious wants to add that it even has a Blu-ray player. (but I can not use it in Russia, damnit!)

I see that VideoLAN has an open source implementation of DTS. Could this ever be added to GTVbox?

There are two main problems:
1. Technical: No native code support on Google TV yet.
2. Non-technical: GTVBox is a closed source app and this lib is GPL.

I see some other solution here. If Revue will ever be rooted, we maybe (maybe!) could pass-through DTS to optical S/Pdif

feature request: add mark watched. Love how when you watch something it has the circle. but if i move the file it erases the status. I would like to put back a marked watch so I know what I have watched. make sense?

and maybe a way to jump to a certain time in the file.

You can set/delete marks with longclick popup menu.

There are problems with jumping over some kind of files. Especially on the Revue, so, it is enabled only for ceratain types of files.

Any chance GTVBox will be able to read movie sheets in a more advanced way? Just wondering if thats on the todo list. Would give it a real cool interface.
