I will start testing of upnp/dlna soon. If you want to be a tester, please, write me to [email protected].
BUT! To be a tester means sending some feedback. If you do not intend to send feedback, please, wait for the release. I am telling this because last time there were lots of people asking for the test build, but only two-three of them provided feedback.

For people who have been writing me about the test: I'll answer as soon as have less buggy build. :-)

looks good, i like the idea of mapping from servers to your left side bar as effectivly folders.
any chance you'd be getting folder artwork working through DLNA (now i know im pushing my luck)?

I can only display what UPnP sends to me. So, I would be thumbnails generated by the server.

I install the version 0.51 and there is some feedback:
1.can not show movie file that the name contains Chinese word in the usb drive, but though the DLNA from Logitech Media Player can see them, but Logitech Media Player also cannot see these file in usb drive.
2.Some the MKV has no sound.
3.Some external subtitles in Chinese shows unreadable code,I think is the encoding type wrong, so I you add hotkey to switch encoding at playing time is very nice. :D
1. Hmm... dunno really, I can see Russian (cyrillic) symbols from USB drive. So, it should support Unicode.
2. It could be DTS sound track.
3. I found a lib to automatically detect text charset. Didn't test it yet. But it should be a solution.

I'll answer all test requests at the same time. It appeard to be longer than I thought. Sorry.

By the way, Google guys reviewed my app. The overall opinion seems to be "it is too geek for a Google TV user". :-)

They like things like Plex. ;)

There is huge competition in the phones/tablets market. I prefer monopoly on GTV.
