The only problem I noticed was the server was unavailable, access denied. I haven't reset factory defaults yet(probably), as the fiance would kill me if she couldn't use it to watch her HBOGo from it and would then proceed to say, "I told you, you would waste your money or break it." LoL.. I have a few friends who may be able to test and snag some shots and if they do, I'll send them on.

Desperately waiting for an update on this issue. Downloaded the update the day it became available but haven't installed it yet due to family-related things. Was planning on doing it tonight, but now . . . ugh! If I missed the opportunity to set this up and have to wait until the end of September (best base scenario) for the official update, I may jump off a bridge!

Ditto. My Revue will be delivered today and I was planning on installing Honeycomb right away.

I hate to state the obvious but I will anyway. For those of you having problems logging into your Google account during setup: are you using multi-factor authentication on that account?

If the answer is yes, then you need to be generating an "Application-specific password" to set up your Revue.

Is that the secure login where you need two passwords to log in?

Sort of. If you have it turned on, you need to enter your regular Google account password and then enter a special PIN number (normally single use, generated by an app on your phone) to authorize a particular computer. You can authorize the computer for just the current session or for up to 30 days. In the case of applications or devices (like the Revue) where you can't enter the PIN, you have to generate an "Application-specific password" to authenticate. So when I setup up my Revue, I didn't enter my "normal" Google account password. I had to generate a Revue-specific password. This is nice for phones or expensive electronics because if they get lost/stolen you can simply revoke the application-specific password for that particular device to keep the thief out of your account.

You enable "2-step verification" under your Google account settings.

Well in that case I don't use that feature so it's not that at least in my case...

exactly where do you set that? am not seeing it in my email settings.

p.s. i see it now.. its under "more account settings" and is not setup/used until you do the setup. so for most folks it should be disabled/non-factor. still waiting for a brave soul to report a successful activation today.
