So, I installed GTV Box, and my girlfriend was looking at some pictures, then bam they were on tv. She said there was a new button and when she touched it the tv showed the pictures/videos.

How did the button get on there?
Button says GTV Box Google TV

Great player though I'm loving browsing my smb shares and streaming my video collection. Thanks for all your hard work mcd2000.
Unfortunately, Google TV media api do not support it yet.

Thanks I knew the built in media player could do it, but I really liked browsing my shares and playing video files with your player.

Sony is using it's private API (library), which is not in Google TV main code and not compatible with Logitech.
Actually, I think, I could add this feature for Sony devices, but I don't have one yet. :-)

Thank you mcd2000.

Just put my ip (with name and password) at the config table (add smb).

It worked!

I have a NSZ-GT1 and GTVBox installed. I have quite a few .M4A audio files but they don't show up on my SMB Shares using GTVBox. I thought this format was supported?

Thanks. I will test and add them to file explorer filter in the next version.

I'm having an issue with SMB and playing videos. Video will start and play for about 15 sec then pause every 15 sec or so. Happens on both sony and logitech, both boxes are wired and the share works fine on my other pcs. Also all videos play fine in stock video player over upnp. Is there an SMB issue in 3.1?
