I've hit a stalemate now.
Media server - can connect and browse, but no media plays back.
Desktop - can connect and browse, and media works conditionally. mp3 playback works, mkv playback works without sound, and mp4 works. Had to use login creds though - couldn't get it to work without them.

Version 0.2 through the Android store, so I assume so.

Not using a revue. Using a Sony TV with built-in Google TV.

hi,
on the point about closing on exit, i somewhat disagree. most other android apps allow you to close when you back out sufficiently so they dont sit in the background.
what i now get when (on 3.1 OS release) is once i have run GTV it is always present and in the background screen so i can never get to the point of viewing the background screen if that makes sense.
also its a great app, any change it would be able to show pics as well. i have cover art in each folder so if i could view those from the application as well it would make it the only app i needed!

Hm. GTVBox allows you to exit on the latest versions. If you press Back while in Root directory of any of your shares/drives, it will ask you to exit.deviousrich wrote:hi,

How do you name your cover art files?

Have you done this "with your hands" or using some automation software?deviousrich wrote:on the cover art i have two files cover.jpg and 001.jpg in each folder (each folder has one mkv in)
