I've finally disassembled it! According to the code, It should support 3d video, subtitles and video zooming. Logitech doesn't have these features. Sony's player uses some native library which is not present on logitech devices. Could you also get it for me? :-) It is /system/lib/libBivMediaLayerJni.so Maybe there are also .so files in the same directory having Media or ffmpeg in their names.

By the way, GTVBox will soon support some (not all) types of internal MKV subtitles .

Here is the list of files in /system/lib
http://pastebin.com/YG9u38qJ

Zipped up any libraries I thought might be related and put them on the shared dropbox under the Sony NSZ-GT1 folder in lib.zip.

Can't wait for you to release mkv subtitle support! That is the only feature that is missing from your player that I really want.

A question to the community: :-)
Some people don't like simple file list in the player. They require some thumbnails. The question is what is the best way to generate them?
In some cases we can use automatic screenshot generation (like frame at random time), but It does not always work correct on the Google TV and not all file formats are still supported. Also it is very resource intensive operation (especially over smb).
The second way is to use some prerendered screenshots. Is it an image file in the same directory or some xml file? What is the best/simplest way here?
Thanks for the suggestions.

It is for Windows! Hard to work with this if you only have a Mac and LinuxPC. ;)

One issue I have, not a big one, is getting it to play one MP3 or file after the previous one?? This would be a great addition to the program for me. I like to use it to listend to music too.. also maybe keep music going in the background while you are on the web or something on the
google box
