Are there plans to support DTS?

I have a couple movies with different audio tracks. and tried to hit O.. But when doing so the app force closes. Any one reported this bug yet?

I do notice it stuttering when trying to play MKV's, es file explorer plays them fine but with no audio. Is this a known issue also?

Any help with this would be great!!! I am buying the app right now so I can show my support/receive updates. Let me know. Thanks!
The O button should switch the optical output mode of a Revue. It is not exactly what you want. But it is strange that it quits. What beta firmware do you have?
To change audio track plz use Alt or A button!
I see no way to support DTS for the Revue for now as It is unable to decode it by hardware. I suppose it is some licencing issue for logitech.

Update: From another topic here, I've noticed you are using the latest (UserDebug) leak. This firmware was reported to have issues when playback some formats. Maybe It has some issues with the API. I'am using the first leak to develop the app.

I have some mkv file stored on my computer and acces them witht GTVBOX on my Sony nsz-gt1 bluray player, it plays audio for the DTS encoded files, My Son's Google TV don't play the audio in them. I assume the bluray has more codecs built in.

Thanks!
Now, we can clearly state that:
DTS supported on Sony Bluray Player
DTS NOT supported on Logitech Revue and Sony Internet TV.

For all:
Small update coming soon allowing fast navigation in a folder (with lots of files) using quick search box.
Also the player will be lauched automatically when a new USB-drive is mouted (you can switch it off).

For the next step I would like to implement extended mkv support (parse it by the app), which should allow internal subtitles in near future.

If you have bought the App, please, leave a comment on the Market. Thanks!

Well i hope they get that going in this next release. That right there makes my WD much better in the media department. I just had to drop $260 on an external drive and NAS adapter to restore my 1.5TB of movies because the revue automatically changed my NTFS drive to ex2... :( I also bought that in hopes to have the revue be able to stream from my network properly with MKV's. I guess we will see what happens. Tomorrow right?? :P

On another note. If google gets the revue working with DTS do you have to do anything special?

No. Thats not about my players code, but about GTV's internal stuff. So, I'll just start working like on Sony devices.

By the way,
Update avaliable!
New logging. If the app crashes, I'll know about it. Buhahahahaha!

Heh! I did't even know, that Revue supports ext filesystem. :D

Is the file available on your website the latest one ? Can you put some version no or timestamp on the file.

The latest version number is 0.12. It should be written both on Android Market web page and on Downloads page on my web site. So, it is easy to compare. :-)
Your current version can be checked using Menu->About app dialog.

I'd like to ask this question again since user hharte was able to use native code in his Terminal app and have it show up in the Market. Do you think it possible for GTVBox to support DTS on the Revue through software? Maybe using something like libdca?

Something I would like to see is some sorta of parental control on the app.. maybe so the kids could not enter certain folders..
