HDMI cables

Whats the difference between Sonys official HDMI and a cheap HDMI cable? Apparently, I heard the official Sony HDMI cable is best for PS3 for better quality and a sharper image. I'm currently using a cheap HDMI cable and wondering if I should upgrade to the Sony HDMI.

The difference is probably about $50. Don't fall for the marketing of super duper hdmi cables from those brand name companies, its nothing more than make you part with your money. You can get HDMI cables for less than $2. The only thing is if you going to be using the HDMI cable to view 3D video then you want to make sure you get the HDMI Cable labeled "High-Speed" or "v1.4".
