Is it the 40 inch model? I have a parts unit with a known good power button. I'd be willing to sell it to you if you need a replacement. Are you a handy person? Dissassembling the Sony GTV isn't nearly as difficult as it first seems. I'd crack the case (to hell with the warranty) and swap them out. I'd be willing to bet that if you got it apart you'd figure out how to fix without needing a replacement (little silver plastic piece probably isn't making contact with the pressue switch).
