"Too large storage to run disk checking..."

Got an NTFS-formatted 1T hard drive, but Revue refuses to see/mount it. Claims (see subject line) it's too big to run disk checking. What up with that? I never told it to run disk checking in the first place... Anyone? (See also here: http://goo.gl/oDRdY.)
