Question for everyone having issues with netflix, what format is the flash drive you are using? ext3 or fat32?

Thanks,
Zenofex

I'm looking for someone to test doing an install on a ext3 formatted drive (who is already having netflix issues). Also am looking for a install log of someone doing an upgrade.

Thanks,

I will try this tonight and update you guys.

Ok, i managed to get an Ubuntu VM going and formatted a jump drive and placed the files on it. I will flash tonight and report back. Only took about an hour to figure out that i had to use gksu to launch the file browser in order to put the files on the usb drive. wow i suck at linux....

CONFIRMED WORKING!!!!

i installed the update from an ext3 drive and netflix works great now. i had absolutely no errors in the symlink section (this is where i had all my errors on fat32).

Here is a copy of the putty output:

the funny thing is that netflix on the bottom left hand side still does not dispay new arrivals without going into the application....not sure why but i'll live with it.

I now have exactly what i want: hulu, netflix, network sites, etc... perfect!

Wow, great find - so the fix is to use an EXT3 formatted USB stick with the update on it .... On my list for the weekend now

Glad to see its working, if someone finds a somewhat easy way to do this it may be nice if they could make a tutorial for other windows users.

Thanks,
Zenofex

Ive been doing a bit of research and it seems the best method is to use a Linux based boot disk. Ive found a few solutions, but all the require purchasing some software. Ill continue searching and see what I can find.
