I successfully OTA upgraded to the 3.1 release from the userdebug with the un-neutered HC recovery

Update downloaded and installed with only one minor problem. It lost my google credentials after upgrading and I had to do a factory reset to get them re-entered. It was probably a good idea to do a reset anyway.

Do you have any proof?

What build were you on before the update?
Can you post a screen shot of your about screen with the build number so we know you are on the new build?

The build I was on before the update was the userdebug build that I linked in my original post.

Well it looks good, but it does not matter if ota will work or not as long as it can be done with usb.

It may not matter to you, but I thought I was doing a nice thing by letting people know that they CAN do an OTA successfully if their config matches mine.

That is true, but personally i have doubt that you had the ota come on the leak.

no just realisitic. people lie, im not calling you a lier, it might have happened, it didnt for me and others, i did not mean to be rude all, and i do appologise.
