quick question about root

So I am able to copy and paste files with OI file manager but when I tried to paste my modified libflash.so
Into /system/Chrome/lib/plugins .. I can't
Is this because the tv is not rooted to be able to.access the rooot directory ?
Trying to solve not being able to.access sites like hulu not because I like hulu for the fact that I can't and I want to lol
And switching to.generic or custom user agent does not work for me
But I found another work around changing my libflash.so from AND to WIN bypassed hulu on my android phone anyways and I'm guessing it would also fix the issue on GTV
And all you need to do is hex edit the libflash 10.2 from an Android HC device
Or android phone depending on what device its going to and search for AND and make.it WIN
