New Update Today

Post by Rtist69 »

I received a new update today on my Sony Google Tv.... I was so excited expecting some Honeycomb goodness only to be hit by another bullshit Sony FAIL.... When I downloaded and installed the update I was grinding from ear to ear until I went to settings menu and checked the firmware version and guess what I see, 2.1... Today is September 24, already start of Fall and no honeycomb... By the way if any one wants to know the update I received today is OMG_2.1_2011091301ON.165187.

Got update 9/23 on my Sony NSX46GT1.
Sony Internet TV firmware 2.1update1
Build: ogm_2.1_2011091301ON.165187

Chrome update and it added some more stuff in the Spotlight folder. Other than that I haven't seen anything different.

My only question, can you still modify the useragent string in the updated version? Otherwise don't really intend to update yet.

Bump.

Still wondering if anyone can confirm if Chrome still has the feature to use a custom useragent string with this update. It is under settings, then advanced when using the browser. You can use almost any ole site to confirm what your useragent is, like http://www.useragentstring.com/
