Has anyone successfully gotten their nest 3 into DFU mode?
I tried the 10-15s from startup BUT the LED flashes green until one orangey-amber (definitely not yellow) flash and it seems to reboot (maybe) meanwhile the NestAttack script is not detecting the device.
Thoughts? Concerns? Poems? (haiku only please, for brevity's sake)
Update: I did some more poking. I'm 99% sure they switched processors.
Seems to be some sort of Freescale/NXP i.MX6 proc and it is going into DFU mode.
Anyone interested in doing the leg work with me? Otherwise my coworker will buy my 3rd gen and I'll buy a second gen to play with.
