Yes, that is right! And I ready to provide any help to revue community.jTV wrote:come on Google TV hackers, we have high hopes in you!
I am pretty sure there are many of us with a brick due to power outage during set up that would really appreciate your effort.
My revue can not reboot

Re: My revue can not reboot
Unfortunately, this process didn't not help me.Turge wrote:
1. Plugged the power
2. Waited 1 full second
3. Pressed the Connect button and kept it pressed
4. The Logitech Revue screen came up. After a couple of seconds, the screen went black.
5. I released the Connect button
6. The Logitech Revue screen came up again. Pressed the Connect button and kept it pressed. After a couple of seconds, the screen went black
7. The update progress bar came up and after a few seconds, the setup wizard came up and I am now able to use my Revue.
I am able to get the Revue to restart after keeping the connect button pressed in, but regardless of how many time I perform this operation, it never shows the update screen (TV screen with a downwards arrow). Think I've tried with ten reboots, but no progress.
I don't believe the problem is the USB stick (tried a couple of different ones whereof one has worked earlier and reformated them as well).
Any other ideas?
Is there some way to get access to boot logs?
Re: My revue can not reboot
Victory!
Just after my last update, I tried one last thing before throwing the Revue in the trash
And it actually worked!
My key change is to remove the USB drive from the Revue!
(only HDMI out to TV and power plugged in)
Then I:
7. Repeated step 6, 3-4 times
8. Still got the Logitech Revue screen, but this time only waited approx 15 seconds
9. After the wait The TV icon with a downwards arrow is shown
10. Pressed ALT+L (took a long time before this would register as it is deleting some old files
11. Restore menu is shown
12. Plugged in the USB stick (with update.zip in root)
13. Selected Upgrade from update.zip on USB
14. Voila!

But, this solution doesn't work for me.
I tried reboot 3, 4 and 5 times by connect button and wait about 30 sec for arrow on the screen - No, I see Logitech splash screen only.

Re: My revue can not reboot
Hi,
I also get the The TV icon with a downwards arrow is shown, then I keep pressed ALT+L but nothing happens.
Today I connected the REVUE for the first time and after the OTA, it will not boot anymore, I only see the exclamation point.
It would be great if somebody can help me, the REVUE is supossed to be a Xmas gift.
Thanks in advance
