Now that Qplay has decided to kill off their service, I'm going to be stuck with their GoogleTV based device. While I haven't investigated this too much, it seems as if it's been fairly locked down to minimize the hackability. While I applied for the refund, they don't require that you actually return the device - they suggest recycling it.

I would love to hack it and put an "unlocked" version of Android TV on it or something so I can continue to play with it.

I'm sure I'm not alone - anyone have any idea how to get started with this?
