Please advise: How long before the Roku 2 root is patched?

I am thinking if getting my hands on a used Roku 2 & root it! Any idea how long I have before a patch is made to the vulnerability?

Thanks for that info roku3d. Assuming when I get my used one and that it has not been updated yet, can I avoid somehow its update? And still enable the root?
