I kept my Roku unplugged until today, went through the steps in this video, and it rebooted with the green screen like seen here. However, I've been unable to telnet to the IP it provides. I checked, and it's apparently updated since I did this. Does that mean my persistent root is now gone, and the device is unrootable? I can still put in the developer code and it recalls my password. I can also get to it via the web console. Hoping I can still use it for magical purposes in the future, but if not I'll just stick to my rooted Chromecast. Thanks for your time to respond, assuming you do.
