I have a problem with my Vizio Co-Star (VAP430) not booting, so I called Vizio support. Nice folks who offered a bit of help, then said that it appeared that my unit was broken. The next question was where I purchased the unit. When I said eBay, they said that there was no warranty on any unit not sold by an authorized seller. The only authorized sellers are Vizio, Amazon, Walmart, and Best Buy.

i RMA'd mine and was never asked where i bought it, at least i don't recall that.
