I bought my GTV100 a few weeks ago and if it weren't for the HULU exploit I found here I would be very disappointed with this device. I have an external hard drive with movies on it that I have had hooked up to my Playstation 3 for the past few years. My PS3 died and I don't want to buy another one since new consoles are coming out soon. I thought that Google TV would be a good alternative. The GTV100 recignizes that I connect the hard drive, and I can actually access the video files throught he Photos app but aVia won't recognize that anything is connected. I spent hours on the phone with Netgear support but they didn't really know anything about the device and weren't any help.

Has anyone else had this problem? HELP PLEASE!

Have you tried another app, like BubbleUPNP? I know with it, aVia had issues seeing some of my stuff, and I just used that, and let it do the work, at least for my Media server.
