Does anyone have the official September update? I've been looking high and low for it with no luck. Sony support says that it's OTA only and they don't host it, but it's probably buried somewhere deep on [Google Link] ... ony_asura/ which is unrecheable unless you have the exact file name.

If anyone has the file or a live link to it, I would greatly appreciate it.

Dang, only get an "Update Data Error" when I try the update.

You have to rename the downloaded file as "package_list_DMA-1_ASURA_2012091701_AAV_ORSC.zip".

I followed http://pastebin.com/GiLt8Dz2 to the letter (substituting the d/l link, of course) and both my NSZ-GT1 and NSX-32GT1 updated successfully.

I have renamed the update and followed the instructions in the Pastebin, still no luck, I have also unrooted by installing http://esupport.sony.com/US/perl/swu-do ... 35&SMB=YES which did apply successfully.

Is this the update i need to apply to get google play working again.
I am rooted allready, will this break root ?

Has anyone else done this? Can this be done while rooted?

Just wanted to say "Thanks" for the POWER+plug-in method for getting into the menu. My TV would only boot to the SONY logo then reboot. I tried and tried getting into setup using my remote, only to find out after the POWER+plug-in method that my remote wasn't paired to the TV therefore very ineffective.

My TV has new firmware and is playing great.
