we are not techies (old folks) who hate cable costs. WE thought this would allow us access to TV shows and movies. How do I find out what TV shows we can watch except by trial and error of certain apps. Are there any free apps allowing us to watch shows? Why can't we get HULU like on our computers? I'm thinking we bit off more than we can choose.

You can try app called "TV Portal" see if that works for you. There was app called "1channel Pro For Google TV" but it has been pulled from the app store. I was hoping someone here can find the 1Channel Pro for Google TV" and add it to the shared Dropbox.
