Help with .MKV and .MP4 formats

I have just installed the GTVBox on my Sony NSZ-GS7, it has been good; but, I noticed for some reason I have problems watching some .mkv and mp4 movies (it said it doesn't support these formats), does anyone know why? how this can be addressed?

The Google TV platform does not yet support DTS audio, so any video files that contain only DTS audio channels will not play on GTV Box or any player running on Google TV for that matter.

I haven't heard anything. It is possible, and I'm only speculating here, that Google has chosen not to support DTS, possibly due to licensing costs or open source issues.

I had the same issue and solved it installing the Plex app at the Google TV and the Plex Media Server in other computer. Using the Plex Media Server you will be able to stream any kind of video format to your GTV and see it on TV
