I just got my Revue today (as Im sure a ton of people did) and I should have looked around for a root before setting it up - but I didnt

I see the awesome news about the 3.1, so I was curious since you could get 3.1 to run, have you figured out a way to add the UART function back into the Revue on b54202? Also, the 3.1, when you come out with it, will it be rooted already?

The 3.1 is just an update zip (root not required).

Yeah, I read that on the forum - but will it be rooted or rootable if the team does release it?

I read somewhere in that thread about the update needs to include root before they release it... something about their strict standards need to be met. My guess is that root will be included based on that comment from the OP of that thread. Resno, I believe.
