Root Sony NSX-40GT1 through UART Bootloader

I have a Sony NSX-40GT1, that I would like to Root through UART bootloader..
I installed the laterst exploit (20120520)
and I tried to connect using putty. but all I get is garbage on the screen (unreadable)...
First, do we have a written procedure somewhere to root the NSX? I found the procedure but only for the NSZ...
Second any one know the proper connection/pinout (wires that I need to connect to the Serial console).
If anyone could help it would be much appreciated
