Difference between US and Canadian firmware?

Recent Canadian NSZ-GS7 buyer here, I've noticed on the firmware downloads section that there is different firmware for Canadian and US models of the device. According to another post, you can flash the US firmware on international devices. I was wondering if there was a difference between the US firmware and the Canadian one? I'm not unfamiliar to flashing Android devices (I use CM10 on both my Galaxy Nexus and Nexus 7), but would I gain any benefit to putting the US firmware on my device as opposed to the Canadian version?
