Is there something i can change in the settings to achieve this?

thanks.
There are some things:
1. Subtitles are incompatible (not SSA/Text)
2. MKV parser is not perfect yet. It sometimes crashes.

Hey,

I just purchased GTVBox and I love it!! it is much better than the logictech player. Two questions; how can I have the app read the cover art info from my m4v files and can I change my googleTV to launch your app instead of LMP when I do a search from the google search bar?

I was thinking more in the line of tags. http://www.bunkus.org/videotools/mkvtoo ... merge.tags

Embedded attachments would be sweet, too.

You should gerenate covers for you files using either ThumbGen or Movienizer software.
You can not lauch GTVBox from search as those files are from DLNA.

OK. We have a bug here. :-)
Covers and sheets do not work at all with password-protected SMB. Always forget to test those as i dont use them at all.

Ah, I'd be willing to bet this is my issue! I'll be keeping an eye out for an update. Otherwise I've been loving this player. :)

Just bought the app today and I'm pretty sure I'm running into the same issue. Please let us know when you get a fix out for this one.

Thanks!

Temp workaround of the auth issue is to put login/password into address.
Like: smb://login:password@ipaddress. And empty login and password fields.

Bazzinga! That works great, thanks! I very much look forward to future development of this nifty app. If you need BETA testers feel free to contact me.

I really would love if HLS m3u8 streaming files would support audio as well.
