Does it work with: http://chrome.angrybirds.com/
And other html5 web apps?

Just an idea...has anyone tried flashing the old recovery via adb and flash_image? AFAIK, the recovery isint signed.... so this could allow us to have recovery again.

That was going to be my first attempt.
I'm just downloading the update and getting ready to flash...

No, it means you can't tinker inside memory, however all files in /system are mounted RO, and they can not be re-mounted.

To clarify what mrandroid said - if you install this, assume you will not be able to update, maybe something will come around - but again, assume you can't update, ever.
Actually that would a a harsher clarification than what I intended. Assume you will not be able to update via anything but the official update being pushed to it. Updating isn't removed, just the recovery menu (i.e. human controlled access to recovery). You could still update via an official update being pushed to it, and there's also the small potential of updating via ADB.

Also, as far as pushing the recovery from the beta to this new build via adb, from what Zenofex has told me, the recovery is signed, but that wouldn't cause an issue, as it's signed by logi/goog. The update has multiple layers of signatures though (main zip, files within, etc..) and I don't know if unpacking the main zip will kill the signatures of the items within.

can confirm this at least. just passed stage one. its like trying to play it on the g1 though. slow.

gonna try to side load super user and try some root apps. then to see if there is a hulu workaround. its bed time though.

some1 also asked what version of flash it was.... its 10.2.163.91

Does this have Logitech Vid and can IR remotes be used with it?

Is it still going to the beta server to update the controller?

Can it now be over clocked?

Can a custom recovery be installed on it?

Can't get the debug to load. When I get through the alt-l, I have to hold it down through the process but it never goes to the update portion. It just shows "data" then "cache" then it goes to "reboot", never gives me the chance to choose update. I am using the same flash drive, but wiped it and reformatted in fat 32 before putting the ota on it. I changed the name to "update" and verified it just had ".zip" on the end. Every time I attempt this, it just wipes all data and I have to re-setup the revue. Not sure what I might gain from the update but my main reason is to get the file sharing portion to work since I've updated to 3.1.

dunno. dunno. not yet. not yet.

how can we get super user permissions working? i side loaded superuser but its not recognizing root.

i do have to say that it is a bit more responsive then the beta. chrome, especially, seems to crash less.

I am having trouble getting my Revue to install the UserDebug. Half the time it doesn't get passed the Revue logo screen, and the other half it shows the GoogleTV old logo with the arrow, stares at me for a while, then proceeds to reboot and ask me to resetup the entire device, no recovery screen or install requests.

I am doing the exact same steps as when I installed the 3.1 leak, which worked. What am I doing wrong?
