I was just thinking about the same. ;)
Like, you have a file navigator and pictures are at the right. If you hover a file and press RIGHT (on D-Pad) or click the image, it goes fullscreen (with animation). Then you can start playback (like pressing enter/play), go back or go to the next image (like pressing up/down).
sounds good to me!

Couple of questions I have. I have read through half of the pages with no reference to my problem or maybe I have read to much lol.

1. I purchased the app from the Android market and I can only find maybe a 1/4 of my files that the standard revue player can find. What am I doing wrong?

2. I know it does not play dts but is there always going to be a second audio option to allow it to play? I have a couple of files that have perfect video and no audio because of DTS. I read this app would allow me to change but first I cant find the file to play and second if I do find the file, will I always be able to swith audio?

Thanks

Hi!
1. App's file explorer filteres files by extension ( only video/audio). Maybe some of your files have an uncommon extension and it is just filtered out.
2. Gtvbox always takes the first compatible track. So, if you have no sound at all, it means your file has all incompatible tracks (ex. all are DTS).

Is it possible to add airplay support for media players?
I tried youtube and photo and they work fine. But media player/ streamers like good player, oplayer.. pptv..etc doesn't work...

Samba share works fine, however I found when trying to play larger MKV files, such as a 2GB one, buffering time seems very inconsistent.
For example when playing a 2GB 720P MKV file, I waited maybe 1 min and got nothing, so I back out, tried a small file, played fine, and came back, still get nothing after like 30 seconds wait. Then after a while on a 3rd try, I get video on screen within like 2 seconds, as fast as those small files.

Are you caching files based on their size? Like a 10% of the file get cached before play start?
I guess it is better to cap the cache size to something reasonable like 10MB at most, if 10MB buffer cannot help it, then 100MB cache or 1GB cache wont make too much difference either, better just copy the whole thing over.

Or better yet, make the buffer/cache size adjustable in options? That'd be great as everyone has different network environment.

Native video player should work. Also embedded video on most ios-compatible web sites should work.
Some players use software (ffmpeg) decoding. Such players can not use airplay (only mirroring).
Also, if you try to watch some live stream ( internet tv apps) it may not work due to uncomplete Http Live Streaming protocol support in Google TV. Google guys claim to fix this soon with some update.
