I'm getting an Error parsing the package error. This is on a Kindle Fire downloaded from the mediafire link.

that means one of two things. either your download got corrupted or the kindle fire doesn't like some the app has in its manifest. try renaminv the file to zip and opennjng to see if thr filenis intact, or redownload. if that doesn't work, try jnstalling the original gtv app from the market.

Love the app btw. Running the 3.1 UDB and the IR commands are very laggy at times using the keyboard. Results in a lot of FC's. For some reason though, the remote app works 99.99% of the time.

any news on another update? one for the official update.

I'm cleaning it up now. I will upload with a very basic default skin which will give folks the idea how to build more. The stock UI will still be available as well.
