Concerning whether I was able to log into my Google account and complete registration and setup, yes, all is well.

Same here, had no issues with my Google account or setting up my TV remote.

I did initially log in with the original firmware, and connect to my Google account, I'm not sure if that makes a difference or not. It did ask if I wanted to restore Google information to the device.

I noticed 1 bug tonight pairing the DVR up with the revue, which may be something to monitor, If you have caps on and need to use a number, it will give the ASCII character versus the number, so just an FYI, especially with the passwords. Just make sure caps are off. Otherwise this is a minor bug for some.

I can confirm this is a network setup issue.. Created a hot spot using my Evo 3d and was able to. Sign in and setup fine.

Ok. If this is a network issue I like to know what config works to allow me to complete setup. I have a Motorola Surfboard SBG6580 I left most setting default except wireless network I setup WPA/WPA2 Encryption with TKIP+AES. DHCP not static. Thanks in advance for all help.

Are you broadcasting your SSID on your network? Revue won't find my WIFI until I turn SSID broadcast back on.
