Have anyone been able to install it?
From the documentation the emulator should only run on linux KVM, but the add-on API itself ought to be available for all platforms

In SDK and AVD manager, if I go to available packages -> Third party -> Google inc, I find the package "Google TV by Google Inc., Android API 12 revision 1".
However, I am unable to install it since it only has an archive for linux.

I have the prerequisite SDK Platform 3.1 API 12 (rev 3) installed.
Any idea?

You're, that sucks. Why make a programming API depdent on a platform? Could have just distributed the jars without the emulator.
See now that it also states the following on the google installation page:

"To use the add-on, you must have the following installed on a Linux workstation:" (ref http://code.google.com/intl/no-NO/tv/an ... addon.html)
