Hello GHackers,.
I came here from this link, http://www.engadget.com/2013/12/28/roku ... -3-rooted/
So I have a Roku 3 and need to root it. Yet the wiki only talks about the Roku 2. I ran the code with out knowing how or where or what. I executed the script on my Linux box and booted the Roku 3 with the now executed script on the SD card.
I at that time did not think that your wiki pertained to the Roku 3 for the reason stated above. I did finaly check my model number. It is 4200x. Does any of this information help you help me root my Roku?
Regards
