How to downgrade from REL11 to REL10 and root the device

Hi everyone,

But i got stuck, because my brother updated it to the newest firmware REL11.
Can someone tell me how to downgrade this to REL10 to be able to get root of it.
I'm outside of US, want to try the google TV. But all i get from it is only the youtube from a 300$ device (include ship fee and tax for me).
Even i can't play my music videos on it with the DTS audio track . Very disapointed !!

Don't quote me on this and do your own research but....

My understanding is that as upgrades are done the device is not allowed to downgrade. Either the software takes care of that or there are physical fuses in the device that get burned.

In either case, it's unlikely that you will be allowed to downgrade with the current REL11.
