Depending on the app. If you've read about the app in this thread and people have said it's working, then yes. Many don't need the orientation app, they run fine on their own.

Don't know if its been mentioned yet, but for the Google Music app, once you've installed it, check your notifications for a permissions required. Restart by unplugging and you should be streaming music beta songs, like me.

Example.....
Engadget
GeekBeat.TV
Radar Now

when i open them, now that i have figured out how to use Orientation Switch, i can only view these Apps in such a small area within my screen,is there any App to get them Full screen????
Get an app called Spare Parts and uncheck compatibility mode, then restart.

Thanks
Ok, back home now. In the "Orientation Control" app I have:
  • Switch Style = Selector (All other Switch Behavior options are greyed out)
  • Screen Off Reset = Unchecked
  • Show Notification = Unchecked (All other Status Bar Shortcut items are greyed out)
  • Long Press Search = Checked
In the "Orientation Switch" app I've selected Landscape. Hope this helps.

Edit: Tried switching it to Portrait and my arrow keys are still working fine. Pulse is not looking any better for actually reading the articles sadly. Forced Portrait was a no go, flipped my whole screen sideways.

As previously mentions, ES File Explorer Explorer works.

Flight Control does not. It force closes on start up.

And also some video programs with russian language films and radios.

The version from my rooted nook color installed fine, but there are very few features that I find useful...
