Well it does it when i can still read the subtitles fine, and then i find it a bit distracting.

It's working now! Thanks for the responsiveness and quick fix.ioos wrote:I purchased this app a few weeks ago, but I haven't been able to use it. Every time it opens, it FCs a few seconds later. This is on an NSX 46 inch TV.
Another question: is it possible to select the audio track in an .mkv video. I downloaded a Blu-Ray copy of A New Hope. In addition to the normal audio it has Chinese dubs. In VLC it's easy to select the correct audio track. But on the TV, (in your app and the stock Sony one) it defaults to the last audio track, which in this case is Chinese. Is it possible to select the other audio? If not, feature request? In the absence of making it selectable, I think defaulting to the first audio track would make more sense, since those tend to be the highest quality on videos with multiple audio tracks.

Have you tried pressing ALT button or clicking Sound icon in the new version?ioos wrote: Another question: is it possible to select the audio track in an .mkv video.
If it launches the second track, propably, the first one is not supported. It could be DTS.

Ah. It is DTS. I didn't realize that wasn't supported. My fault.
Does anyone have any tips on how to re-encode the audio? (using Arch Linux)
Re: Video player with audio switching (GTVBox Video Player)
In my case, sometimes the "outline" don't fit in width with the subtitle, so they show in different positions. I mean: some black titles in some place, and white titles in other place. It happens on my Revue. It's not a real problem but it is clearly an unintended effect.mcd2000 wrote:Is it so bad?dkomi wrote:Is it possible to disable the Subtitle outline?

Something like:ioos wrote: Does anyone have any tips on how to re-encode the audio? (using Arch Linux)
ffmpeg -i input.mkv -vcodec copy -acodec ac3 output.mkv
This is from my head, so, may not work. So, look at ffmpeg docs.

DTS works on Sony Blu-ray player (both decoding and pass-through), but not on Sony TV.coronanlime wrote:If I ever splurge on the Sony version of Google TV dts well work right? Is it a long shot with the revue if they ever root it?
I really like my Sony Blu-ray after a year of using Revue.
I am not sure that is possible to port DTS support to rooted Revue, but who knows.
