#&$&$%!!($+&:;,>($- yeah mother $-8&% xmvjgbdb. Let's get to the hacking!!!!!! Great job. Omg.....the revue will have purpose again!!!!
OK.... now that that's out of the way... I'd like to hear the way he did. I'm sure it has the same *not so* basic steps as the Sony gtv. Its great to see development happening still for the revue. The devs are a dedicated group of people. Congrats to them. Once everything is sorted and the steps are told, I'm sure a few of us on here can find basic hacks to make the device just run...better.
Thanks dan. For bringing in the new wave of development,
Edit: though if you look... its been a few days since he posed that and hasn't said anything about since.
Edit 2: sorry to burst the bubble but the unsigned kernel really only benifits rooted revues so until a root is found, this isn't what we were waiting for. Keep praying for a root exploit for revue. Then this will be the next step.

What is Your problem?
This is another step for rooting our devices, every good news is a news that we wait for.
There are few developers working on it, so it would be a surprise that root could be made before logitech/google will publish the code.

No...this not a step towards root. Dan was only able to bypass kernel signing on zenofex revue....which is rooted. This will come in handy after they find root...but not help gain root. Sorry.sug83 wrote:What is Your problem?

Re: Dan Rosenberg.- "Just bypassed kernel module code-signin
as havikx mentioned, this requires the device to be rooted. Dan and myself spoke briefly on the issue and to avoid Logitech fixing the bug. None of us will be releasing the method until we find a root for the OTA builds.
So in short, we've made some progress but there's nothing public now. Sorry everyone, just take the tweet as notice that none of us have given up on hacking the revue.
Thanks,
Zenofex
