How to delete files on sdcard?

I know it seems a real stupid question but I read the whole forum and couldn't find an answer not to say the endless tries i did on my revue.

Set up is Revue + Honeycomb 3.1 + several apps plus Android File Manager and Blackmoon File Browser.

Now I want delete some garbage from /mnt/sdcard/Download. The two file manager allow me to browse but I couldnt find a way to delete files.
If I select any item the only thing that happen is a widget asking me how I want to open it.

Am I completely dumb or there is a trick?

Yes I am dumb! I found a way... open Download app. Then select item and hit the config button. Two options show off: share and delete.

It seems that download app only shows files in download folder. I wonder how to do it with any working file manager. Thanks again...
