Using the Hisense Pulse I am not sure how anyone is getting their android device ID. I know there are apps on the market for this, but they do not install on the pulse. How are you guys getting the android device id to begin sideloading using APK Downloader?

Probably easiest way is to follow the instructions found here:

Why would you use APK downloader?
Just click on the apk and it installs.
Use ES File explorer, add a network share, put your apk's on that share, browse to them and click.
Simple.
There are other ways too. You can enable ftp in storage settings and browse that way. You can upload the apk's to Google Drive, then browse to it on GTV. You can gmail the apk to yourself and open your gmail in GTV.
Many, many ways.

I agree with the dropbox method

Use Astro to backup the dropbox app from an android device you have it installed on.
Attach the dropbox apk to an email and send to your gmail email. Open your gmail in chrome on the GTV. Click the apk.

If you dont have a dropbox account get it here and we both get 500 meg free--http://db.tt/ZC8lv3J

I guess i should edit the post about side loading. Astro was the first file manager i used while side loading, now it's worthless.
