Hello Everyone,
Can someone list the pre-installed apps on the Hisense Pulse?
For instance, are Netflix, Pandora and Onlive already installed or should one download them from the Google Play Store?
Are there any other apps?
Cheers!!

Hi,

This is a list of everything showing up under "All Apps", of course some things are normal things (clock, watch tv, etc), but others are apps / links to web pages that don't exist on other boxes.

The list is (mind any typos):

Clock
Crackle
Downloads
Flixter
Google Chrome
GTVebook
Live TV
Netflix
NY Times
Pandora
Photos
Play Movies & TV
Play Store
Quello
Redux TV
Search
Settings
SnagFilms
Spotlight
Thuuz Sports
TV & Movies
Twonky
WillowTV
Youtube
ZyngaPoker

Bummer, after seeing the Pulse webpage on the Hisense US website I thought Onlive would be preinstalled.

IDK you might be able to side load onlive from the co-star onto the hisense pulse if you are really interested in it. You would be a guinea pig in testing it however seeing i don't have a pulse to test it on.

Dunno if it will work as-is, but this came from a dump from the first costar update (I think?):

So the apk installed just fine and the app works. The only downside is there is no audio. I was able to play my games using my onlive controller so I'm pretty happy. On another note, I installed the app on my sony bluray, and it launched just fine, no force close like I usually see when trying to install an app that requires NDK. However a message came up saying my devices was incompatible. Would there be a way to edit the app to get the hardware requirement gone. I know other people have been abl to do this with other apps, so I was wondering if anyone here has experience with that. I have none so that's why I'm asking.

Thanks again

It wont work on the Sony Blu-Ray as there are native libraries (specifically the /res/raw/libolnative) that would refuse to run, even if we bypassed that little message. For sound, that is something that should be looked into, wondering if it's a form of "protection" to stop sideloaders.
