Hi folks
I have this box more than a year and I guess this is time to play with it. I found we can root it. Just need to know what you would recommend if I want to change the OS? Chrome OS maybe? something with better apps and more fun.
thanks,

how about Ubuntu?

Minimum system requirements for Xubuntu would fall roughly between Ubuntu Server and Desktop:
512 MiB of system memory (RAM)
5 GB of disk space.
Graphics card and monitor capable of 800x600 resolution.

GS7 Specs:
Marvell Armada 1500(88de3100)1 1.2 GHz dual-core processor, with a 750 MHz GPU2
1 GB DDR3 Memory
8 GB Samsung Flash NAND - KLM8G2FEJA-A002

If all else fails flash it with the original sprint rom. Once you get it back up you can flash it with the mods.
