Hi,

i'm thinking about getting the NSZ-GS7

i wish to connect an external harddisk to it
can i access this harddisk through the network?

if not supported out of the box, is there a way to make it work?

i wpuld like to be able to copy files from and to this harddisk, through the local network

there is an option in settings to turn ftp on. you would need to get the password every time(i believe)
with es file manager you can connect to the local lan and move files from the pc to the nsz.

If you are using an external drive, it may be easy to just move it back and forth.

so it has a ftp server but no file server? odd..

i'm looking in the play store for "samba server" and i got some results
but how do i find out if those apps are comptabile with Google TV?

search from gtv. if it shows up it is compatible. Or get the apk, ftp it to the device and try it.

i dont have a Google TV unit yet
