Can you upload the apk somewhere to see if we can sideload it on other devices. You can use App Backup & Restore to grab the apk and then either copy it from the /sd card/App Backup & Restore folder or send the backup using Dropbox, etc.

It can be downloaded on Google Play here:

Or you can get the direct apk from here if it shows as incompatible on your TV:

I don't know what you are linking for the direct download, but that is not amazon instant video. I would really like to get a hold of it if anyone is able to download and upload for me.

I was linking to an app that can grab the apk of installed apps and doesn't require root. I'm not sure if this device has root. I was trying to make it easy for someone to get the apk since I really want to get it.

I don't have one of these TVs so I can't grab the apk, but was hoping someone with one of these TVs would stop in and read this.

FYI spunker88 that back up restore app is not capable of being directly installed or side loaded. I used ES file manager to pull the apk. It has the same feature available in it.

I just tried side loading it to my Sony GS7. No luck. Let me know if anybody else is able to make this work.

Thanks Jiveturkey, i've been waiting for this. I have one further request, is it possible to get a system dump from a LG tv that has the latest update installed? I might need it to get this working on other devices.

Thanks really appreciate the upload. Unfortunately I can't get it to install on my tablet, must have incompatibility issues with non Google TV devices. I was hoping that since it required Android 3.2+, it would install on my ICS (4.0) tablet. Anyways thanks for uploading this.

Spunker i am pretty sure that it requires a library from the gtv to work, i need a system dump from an lg so i do some more digging into it.
