Was checking out the Defcon presentation and noticed this part in the timeline "Sony update encryption keys found, reversed, decrypted". So are you able to unobfuscate the Sony USB update.zips now?

Just wondered if you guys had a timeline on releasing this? Otherwise I think I'm going to pick up a USB -> TTL UART over the holidays and give it a go.

Thanks!

Hi, I would also like to know if previous root users can get a simplified update method for the new root! :) Thanks!

Unable to match hash for Sony Bootloader HW Root, not sure what I am doing wrong. Windows 7 usb volume I =50c67353-6b48-11e2-a190-00064f7bcd8f
Ran dd if=../USB1.img of=\\.\Volume{50c67353-6b48-11e2-a190-00064f7bcd8f} bs=4096
To check hash ran dd of=../test1.img if=\\.\Volume{50c67353-6b48-11e2-a190-00064f7bcd8f} bs=4096 count=1280
Got Hash = a716fdff5478cb7a33ad2375684185ad instead of be941a3d7b103da5f3e8533ca5949fff
Any ideas?
