The build I was on before the update was the userdebug build that I linked in my original post.

Just to confirm - that is the OTA build in this picture? I have the same, and want to confirm I have the OTA one now (was surprised to see the gtvhacker screensaver still!)

Yes , that is the new build #, you are good to go.

The GTVHacker screen guy is not on my system anymore, don't know why??

yes - I was away for a few days, but following the forums - and my chrome link (and others) were gone from the home screen, so I assumed I'd been updated, despite no alert. So I did a Factory Reset and everything seems fine now, but wanted to make sure I had been updated
